It’s an exciting time here at Costas Inn! Big things are happening for your Baltimore seafood destination. After fifty years in business, it’s high time to switch some of our offerings up and keep moving into the future. Renovations are underway, and we also plan to refresh our food menu. Given current circumstances, it’s understandable that you might miss our in-house experience. But the good news is that the new carryout station is almost finished! In the meantime, feast your eyes on some of our other best-selling items!
The humble ham sandwich is both older and younger than you might think. Okay, so we know how bizarre that sounds. First innovated in the 1700s, it gets its name from the Earl of Sandwich, a British nobleman who was so intent on his card game that he asked his cook to fetch him a snack so he wouldn’t have to get up from the table. A few slices of ham stuffed between two pieces of bread gave rise to one of the world’s most popular sandwich items. When you visit us, you’ll find Virginia-style baked ham and ham included in cold cut subs, among others.
Beef is one of the most versatile types of meats available. Plus, it’s pretty darn delicious, no matter how you cook it. Top round beef is a hugely popular treat we have, along with can’t-miss entrees like filet mignon, steak Triantafilos, New York Strip, and homestyle meatloaf. The delectable Costas combo will blow you away – you get a 12 oz New York Strip paired with a jumbo lump crab cake – yum! Hot beef open-faced sandwiches are served on white bread and smothered in gravy to go with the fries that come on the side; platters filled with roast beef with gravy fries are going to rock your taste buds’ world! You can’t forget about turkey! Like the other meats we’ve mentioned, no list of food items would be the same without turkey clubs and turkey melts! Our delicious turkey club comes packed with tender meat, American cheese, and crispy bacon. White bread, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise complete the puzzle – come and down and treat yourself today!
New Twists on Old Faves
Our old pit smoker is being phased out. As such, we’re going to start offering homemade signature sandwiches – roast beef melts, ham melts, and turkey melts. You might think you’ve tasted the best sandwiches around and that everything else can’t stack up. We promise you’ll be astonished by how good our food is!
