The great thing about sports is that there’s always a playoff competition happening or about to happen in one league or another. And right now, the NBA and NHL playoffs are both happening live at Costas Inn! Come in this weekend to join us for playoff basketball, hockey, and of course the Orioles, who aren’t in the playoffs but are back in Baltimore for a series against the Red Sox. We’ve got all the sports you can handle right here at Costas Inn!
NBA Playoffs
In the Eastern Conference, the 5th seeded Wizards are up 2 games to none against the Toronto Raptors, after two strong performances from John Wall and company. Game 3 is on Friday in D.C. at 8 pm, so make sure to be here to watch the Wiz potentially wrap this series up. If necessary, game 4 is on Sunday at 6:30 pm.
Out in the Western Conference, last year’s champions, the San Antonio Spurs, got the win in overtime against the L.A. Clippers to even up that series 1-1. The Clippers and Spurs play Friday at 9:30.
NHL Playoffs
The Caps are 2-2 in a hard-fought first-round series against the New York Islanders. They’ve been getting a little help from broken sticks on the part of the Islanders, which twice led to goals for the Capitals in game 2. The series continues tonight in D.C. at 7 pm, so come join us to watch the Caps go for their 3rd win!
Orioles
The Blue Jays having been giving the Orioles fits so far this year, and the birds have lost their first two to Toronto up at the Rogers Center. The Os look to salvage a win out of the series tonight at 7, after which they’ll return to Baltimore for a home stand against the Red Sox. Join us to cheer on the Orioles all weekend long and enjoy our gameday specials!
