4 More Seafood Dinner Ideas to Enjoy with Your Significant Other

For a different culinary experience, create a seafood dinner that combines shrimp with butter, olive oil, and herb sauce.

Every day can be a special one. You don’t have to follow a calendar loaded with fun if inconsequential occasions. If Valentine’s Day has never been a celebration for you, you could take a different approach to it. We don’t mean you should change your stance, but whether it’s a birthday, an anniversary, or just a way to show you care, making dinner for your SO counts as a love language all its own.

Shrimp Pasta Infused with Pesto

Even for the most inexperienced chef, making pasta is an easy target. That’s because they don’t require many steps to follow. At least, if you pull some out of the package and drop them into boiling water. Making pasta by hand is an effort-intensive process if you’re not sure what to do. Either way, try this out for your next dinner: shrimp pasta tossed with pesto. It’ll only take about half an hour. Pesto is composed of basil, pine nuts, and mild cheese. The shrimp and cherry tomatoes need to be lightly fried, too, but that technique isn’t too hard to achieve.

High-Class Shrimp Cocktail

The classic shrimp cocktail makes for a delicious appetizer. It may seem plain at first, but a vegetable broth adds a delightful flavor. The shrimp is cooked and then placed on the ice. It’s easy to make the cocktail sauce, too. It’s quick, easy, and makes Date Night a little more sophisticated.

Thai-Inspired Steamed Mussels

Ready to get adventurous? In that case, put a spin on those PEI mussels. Liven them up with a Thai-style basil-coconut sauce. Add a dash of lemon zest, and you’ll really impress your significant other. Freshly baked biscuits or appealingly grilled bread are magnificent complements that let you sop up the sauce once the mussels are gone.

Delicate Shrimp Layered Over Angel Hair

Shrimp is incredibly versatile. As evidenced by previous items on this list, you can use it in various ways. For a different culinary experience, create a seafood dinner that combines shrimp with butter, olive oil, and herb sauce. Top it off with grated parmesan cheese, as well!
