First off, we’ve got game two of the World Series. The Red Sox handled the Cardinals pretty easily last night, and are looking for another win before they head off to St. Louis. The Cardinals on the other hand, don’t want to fall in the hole 0-2. There’s nothing like postseason baseball, and we’ll be tuned in tonight.
What’s another great thing about Thursday night? Thursday night football of course. Whoever thought of this idea should be awarded a prize. Tonight its a southern battle between the Carolina Panthers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Will home field advantage get the 0-6 Bucs a much needed win? Come by and find out!
Last but not least, there’s a whole slew of NHL regular season games on tonight. Washington’s Caps are up in Edmonton playing the Oilers, but the game to watch has to be the San Jose Sharks against the Boston Bruins. The Sharks’ 19-year-old Tomas Hertl of the Czech Republic put on a phenomenal display earlier this season, netting four goals in a game against the New York Rangers, including this unbelievable through-the-legs trick shot. If you weren’t a hockey fan before you watched this video, you will be after.
