On Wednesday nights, Costas Inn holds Jazz Night for your dining entertainment.  November is packed with fantastic jazz artists, who will make these awesome nights incredibly enjoyable.  And, on top of this musical treat, you’ll be able to dine on your favorite Costas Inn menu items.  Jazz Nights are EVERY Wednesday at 8pm.  Let’s talk about the artists who will be performing in November, so you can come join us for a great night.

George Spicka Jazz Quartet

On November 9th, Costas Inn will have the pleasure of housing George Spicka and his jazz quartet.  Spicka attended the University of Maryland as a Music Education major; he’s been a member of the Baltimore Composers Forum since 1994, and has served as board member, secretary, vice president, and president.  He’s released over 600 new works, and he has several hobbies involving the visual arts.  You can learn more about his impressive accomplishments on his website, here.

Dave Leoni and Full Circle

Leoni will be performing on November 16th, and we’re honored to have him.  He has an AA degree in music and a BA in music performance, and has been playing guitar since 1966 when he was 12 years old.  Since, he has worked and studied with many popular jazz artists.  He also teaches jazz.  You can learn more about Dave here.  Full Circle is an awesome jazz quartet that promises no covers, so they’ll be playing entirely original music!

The Fred Hughes Trio

Originating in Washington DC, they have been creating and performing beautiful jazz music since 1989.  They have worked with many incredible jazz artists, and are very talented at what they do.  We are truly humbled by their performance!  You can learn more about the trio on their website, here.  Be sure to show up on November 23rd to see them!

JazzFFluenza

JazzFFluenza is a wonderful, passionate group of people who believe in jazz music with all of their hearts!  Their illusive description of themselves include a clever allusion to catching the jazz sickness–except this illness is filled with beautiful music and good people.  At Costas Inn, you can enjoy JazzFFluenza’s creations alongside your favorite meal.  Check out their Facebook page for more info!
